Mere Rangihuna (Ngāti Hine, Ngā Puhi, Ngāti Manu, Te Uri-o-Hau) is an experienced Event Producer (Iwi of Origin) and Māori Participation Manager at Aktive. With over 30 years of expertise in sports governance, leadership, and management, Mere has worked across various levels of school, club, regional, and national sports organisations. She previously served as Team Manager for the Kiwi Ferns, AVIS Magic Netball team (Waikato Bay of Plenty) and is currently managing the Bay of Plenty Volcanix FPC team. She is an active member of WISPA’s He Wāhine Toa Kei Te Kokiri Rōpū, contributing to the refreshed strategic plan and supporting the delivery of the 8th IWG World Conference on Women & Sport.
